Life is short. When writing my family memoir “Acres of Life”, I realized the number of family values, stories, and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. Those are already part of my legacy, yet I questioned myself “what will I add? And What really matters to me?” I get such joy out of tuning into lessons from previous generations and connecting them to how they still relate today. Not only do I want to carry forth those meaningful experiences; I want to use them as an encouragement to tap into what matters most to you. To help you see, feel, and believe you will have a lasting impact through your events, your actions, your stories, and your contributions. My family farm is so much more to me than a place. It provides the richness I received and the values I want to be known for. It’s why I’m creating a new way to carry family farming traditions into the future. This is unfolding as I go and that mystery of what it will be is simply part of my legacy. Keep your mind open and your heart true as you live in your legacy today!
